The Water Board will start a project in the spring of 2023 to identify the exact location of the domestic and irrigation shutoff valves associated with each residence in Ranchview Estates. Currently, there is no comprehensive map of shut offs and the board is concerned that exact location of valves will become more necessary as the water distribution system ages. If you are aware of the location of the shutoff valves on your property, please give a board member a call.

Property owners should be aware that the Water District owns and is responsible for the water distribution system up to and including the shutoff valves. Individual property owners are responsible for water lines on their property after the shutoff valves.

Finally, if a property owner needs to turn off water for any reason, please contact a water board member. To ensure the safety of the water distribution system, only authorized personnel are allowed to shut off water to a residence.
